Core Responsibility

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing a cutting-edge, scalable application which is being used by millions of customers worldwide. This position offers you an opportunity to work with world-class engineers and build resilient features to support millions of endpoints. The work involves complete ownership from a delivery perspective, including design, architecture, development, operations, and end-to-end support/maintenance of our systems. You will become the face of the team from a feature standpoint on all technical aspects. You will be responsible for guiding and mentoring other talented engineers on your team on highly complex projects and responsible for hiring new engineers/interns.

Position Requirements:

Eligible Candidates should meet the following criteria.

Required:

• 11 to 15 yrs. of hands-on C/C++ development experience on Enterprise level products on Mac/Unix platforms
• Proficient in MacOS internals. Should have expertise in using native IDE/Dev framework (Xcode/Swift/Clang++) with hands-on development exp. with Objective C etc..
• Should be able to independently design moderate to a complex modules with solid code quality
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills. Well-versed in data structure and algorithms.
• Proficient in multi-threading, thread synchronizations, and parallel processing
• Innovative thinker and adept at building high-performance application
• Deep understanding of IPC mechanisms
• Excellent communication skills and should be able to engage with different teams to seek technical clarification or build consensus,
• Mentor junior team members in technical matters
• Good exposure to C 11 and unit testing framework are added advantage
• Self-driven, quick learner, and ready to explore new approaches 

Desirable Requirements:

• Good understanding of Networking
• Exposure to Cyber Security / Security domain and technologies
• Exposure to SSL/TLS and Cryptography
• Familiar with Golang

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor / Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering (M.E / M.Tech, B.E / B.Tech, MCA) and 11 to 15 years of previous experience in the job offered, or as a Principal Software Engineer, Software Engineer, Software Developer, or a similar related role
