General Summary:

Job Description:

- Support Qualcomm PC/mobile chipset customer for design-win projects.

- Help OEMs to understand QCT software/solution, give customers training of QCT products.

- Help/direct customer engineers to resolve the issues in using QCT solution no matter it is QCT problem or not.

- Play consultant/expert role, trouble shooting, identify problem reported by customers, analyze and report issues to developer team, help developer team to narrow down the root cause and fix problems.

Skills/Experience Required

- Strong experience in ASM/C/C++ programming.

- Strong understanding of ARM architecture and embedded OS theory.

- Strong embedded software debugging skills on driver/system level on real time operating systems.

- Strong experience in Windows/Android OS development and debugging

- Good understanding of Windows Kernel driver Framework

- Familiar with BOOT is a plus.

- Familiar with stability debug is a plus.

- Familiar with assembly, simulators/JTAG-debuggers.

- Familiar with NOR Flash and DDR is a plus

- Familiar with test equipment such as Oscilloscope/Logic Analyzers, test-mobiles & logging tools is a plus.

- Strong English communication and interpersonal skills, high motivation.

- The ability to learn quickly and must be a self-starter.

- Experience with development and commercialization for smartphones or tablets is a plus

- Prior experience with Android and/or Qualcomm MSM software platforms is a plus

- Excellent analytical, problem solving and Communication skills and willingness to work with customers

Education Requirements:

- Bachelor or above with a major of computer science or relevant.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.
