Minimum Qualifications:

Job Description

Responsible for Android benchmark performance optimizations. Design, development, and implement Linux Android benchmark performance test framework, and optimization solution based on Qualcomm Chipsets. Includes but not limited to:

• Develop benchmark performance optimization features on Linux/Android platform.
• Debug and resolve performance issues of benchmark apps on Android devices.
• Profile benchmark apps on Qualcomm devices to get the principle of benchmark, design test code per benchmark for Qualcomm platform.
• Co-work with benchmark company to develop new features, improve benchmark test cases for Qualcomm platform’s performance.
• Support competitor analysis on benchmark apps.
• Track and join Mobile related eco system actively, follow the latest performance related technology and software framework and solution.

Skills /Experience Required:

• Minimum 3+ years Linux BSP/Android framework/3rd libraries working experience.
• Good expertise on Android performance debug tool, include Perfetto, Ftrace and Perf.
• Experienced on Benchmark performance issue analysis and optimization.
• Good knowledge on ARM SoC/CPU architecture, ARM instructions and PMU events.
• Good programming skills, include C/C++, Java, Shell and Python.
• Good expertise on Android/Linux framework and 3rd libraries.
• Ability to schedule, organize and coordinate projects in high efficiency with teamwork.
• Good problem solving & analysis skills, communication skills and strong enthusiasm to learn.

Skills /Experience are plus:

• Good understanding on Android/Linux Framework, display pipeline framework.
• Good understanding on Android IPC mechanisms, like binder/AIDL/socket etc. 
• Good understanding on SOC bus DCVS policy.
• Good understanding on Linux schedule.
• Good English oral and written skills
