Onshape AI Intern

Onshape is looking for an Onshape AI Intern to assist with tuning a new AI chat experience known as the Onshape AI Advisor. The advisor will be able to answer a wide range of Onshape questions including sales and modeling related questions. The ideal candidate has experience with CAD and mechanical design concepts, Python script development, and experience interacting with and tuning an AI model.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Take user feedback and turn it into actionable plans for improvement
• Modify system prompts, language models, and citation strategy to improve accuracy and the user experience

Skills Needed:

• Mechanical CAD and engineering concepts (Solidworks or Onshape)
• Generative AI
• Programming (Python preferred)
