Role description:

We are looking for a Team Lead, Network Integration, specifically at the top of funnel intake, to help optimize our global carrier network. You will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the team that analyses and defines a tactical approach on all incoming carrier integration requests and ensure the highest level of operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will be a leader, a salesperson, a carrier expert, a project manager, an integrations expert, and an efficient operator. 

What you’ll be working on: 

  • Leading the day-to-day operations of the Network Integration team, prioritizing work and optimizing resources
  • Drive carrier responsiveness and escalate where needed
  • Mentoring the Team Members and enabling continuous development and professional growth
  • Provide oversight and training to direct reports
  • Monitor direct report performance and report on metrics to Manager
  • Report on KPI’s and SLAs
  • Maintain cadence of one-on-ones with direct reports
  • Manager Intake compliance to ensure high quality data input
  • Define an integration strategy and complying to carrier specific processes
  • Engage with carriers as needed for resolution management
  • Collect all technical required information and documentation from carriers and prepare for integration
  • Drive customer satisfaction through high velocity and qualitative deliverables
  • Ensure that all customer inquiries and issues are solved correctly by the direct reports and in a prompt and professional manner
  • Create and Review all integration related processes and documentation for continuous improvement  
  • Identification of potential improvements in processes that will increase work efficiency and improve internal controls
  • Building and maintaining good relationship with cross-functional teams, including Professional- / Managed Services and Customer Success, to align network operations with business objectives and customer needs  Playing SME role in implementation of new product/features
  • Initiate to Integrate with global carriers and freight forwarders to expand the project44 carrier network

Requirements & Preferred Skills 

  • 3+ years of proven people management and leadership skills
  • Ideally experience in Supply Chain / Logistics / Transportation operations, Carrier Relations, Carrier Procurement, and/or Systems Integrations 
  • 5+ years of experience:
    • Logistics Operations, and/or
    • Carrier Onboarding / integrations, and/or
    • Carrier Procurement
  • Experience in integrating technical systems (EDI/Flat file/API) 
  • Excellent communicator, both oral and written
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills
  • Skilled at de-escalation
  • Ability to proactively identify and communicate risks and opportunities
  • Passion for carrier/customer satisfaction and operational excellence
  • Ability to manage workload, delegate and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • In-office Commitment: Employees are expected to contribute to our collaborative culture by working in the office three days weekly
