We are looking for a Software Engineer in our Data Science team to join us on this exciting journey! 

As our Software Engineer at Prewave, you will… 

  • Develop our product using Scala, a modern feature-rich language, in an adoptable cloud environment

  • Maintain and improve our data processing pipeline, and apply our rich data science toolset to the data

  • Bring new ideas to life by developing modules and features

  • Take responsibility for newly developed modules and their integration in our pipeline

  • Manage data exchange between our software and our databases (relational and NoSQL), maintain and develop our internal web services

  • Ensure our continuously-running software executes correctly on our cloud and Kubernetes systems

Must haves

  • 3+ years experience with a JVM-based language such as Java, Scala or Kotlin, or some functional language like Haskell  

  • Experience with relational databases

  • Fluent English language skills, both spoken and written


Bonus points for…

  • Experience with cloud providers like Google, AWS, Azure and so on

  • Experience in coding with Scala

  • Experience with NoSQL databases

  • Familiarity with Kubernetes 

  • Familiarity with Linux shell scripting

  • An extensive compensation package
    According to our collective agreement, the minimum salary for this role is EUR 3,077 gross per month, however the higher packages are likely based on your qualifications and experience.
