Senior Integration Engineer

The Role:

As a Sr. Integrations Engineer you will be part of the core team that is responsible to lead on integration efforts and work with Product/Project Managers, Enterprise Architects, and other engineers to architect, design, develop, test and deploy integration solutions for cloud applications.. The integrations would be built using platforms like Dell Boomi as a base platform to integrate multiple SAAS cloud applications spanning from Netsuite, Leapfin, FP&A Platform, Payment Processors, Shipping providers etc. You will work with Business and Business Systems partners, vendors, use keen business process understanding, appreciation for simplicity and quality, out of the box thinking, and a bit of elbow grease to build holistic solutions that meet business and technology objectives while furthering Poshmark’s long-range goals.

What you’ll do (Responsibilities):

• Own and manage the technical implementation and monitoring of the integration platform(s)
• Review existing architecture and integration platform configuration and recommend solutions so that it adheres to industry best practices and future needs.
• Operate as point person, in terms of platform management of end-to-end integrations across and between any cloud platforms.
• Provide leadership and guidance for the development, testing and implementation of processes used for configuration management, deployment, and automation.
• Establish strong relationships with business representatives, participate in requirements gathering workshops and act as a key contributor to the solution design and delivery process.
• Participate in activities like, but not limited to, proof-of-concept development, demos, and post-deployment support of cross-team integration efforts.
• Ensure development activities are aligned with scope, schedule, priority and business objectives
• Create and deliver technical design and solution architecture documentation through analysis of business processes and discussion with business owners.
• Perform research on relevant technology products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the industry.
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent priorities.
• Resolve user requests and incidents, and support end-user communication and training.
• Ability to effectively gauge, communicate and mitigate technical debt and risk.

What you’ll bring (Requirements):

• 6+ years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in architecture and design of integration solutions using the Boomi Platform.
• 3+ years of experience working with integrations of enterprise systems (Netsuite, Looker, Banks, Payment Processors, Shipping partners etc.)
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts as related to tuning and optimization of the integration platform
• Technical understanding of modern Web Services and integration technologies such as REST, SOAP, (S)FTP, OData,, Json, Xml and Open API.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Experience designing solutions that integrate with various data warehousing and data lake solutions.
• Experience with modern development best practices and knowledge of source control systems like Git
• Exceptional integration architecture, design, and documentation skills
• Strong communication skills, a customer service attitude, and demonstrated problem solving ability
• Demonstrated experience with agile development, continuous integration and delivery, and DevOps
• Strong ability to work collaboratively with others, to influence based upon knowledge and experience.

6-Month Accomplishments 

• Develop deep Relationships with internal Stakeholders spanning from Engineering, IT and accounting. 
• Create a plan and a roadmap for integration initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Implement integrations around 2-3 systems thus creating an impact from a data reliability standpoint. 

12+ Month Accomplishments

• Build a plug and play playbook for integrations which will enable you to build integrations at a faster speed.
• Build repeatable API’s/foundations to increase speed of integrating systems.
• Build Automation framework around integration platform.
