Senior Backend Software Engineer

Here's What You'll Do:

• Lead the design and implementation of new and complex software features, GraphQL APIs, and backend systems for our platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, and other engineers) to turn product concepts into reality.
• Work closely with other engineers to develop new features, APIs, improvements, and fixes for scalability and performance.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
• Champion a growth mindset, fostering experimentation, data analysis, and prioritizing tasks based on impact.
• Contribute to a strong engineering culture by writing clean, maintainable code, reviewing code from others, and improving our test coverage.
• Demonstrate a deep commitment to understanding our customers and their needs.
• Clearly communicate technical concepts, both verbally and in writing, to various audiences.

Here's What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in product development with a successful track record of building and delivering software products with an emphasis on performance and scalability.
• Thorough understanding of Node.js and its core principles.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and its application in large-scale development.
• Experience with GraphQL and Apollo frameworks.
• Strong desire to understand customer needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams (excellent proficiency or fluency in English).

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.

Bonus Point For:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, etc.).
