Role Overview

The Candidate will join the Platform Integra & Digital Development team whose scope covers frontend and internal applications. The main tasks will be to support the current JAVA applications which are used for credit card processing. This will include further enhancements of the system as well as bug fixes.

What you will do

• Add functionalities to existing applications.
• Debug and fix issues on existing applications.
• Design and review software architecture when needed.
• Develop new applications.
• Liaise with stakeholders to gather requirements where necessary.
• Ensure all developments are properly tested before delivering them to ensure good quality.
• Participates in every aspect of the development and implementation, working with other departments to ensure full understanding of the change implications to current business processes.
• Follow good development practices and software development life cycle.

Who you are

• Bachelor or Master degree in computer science.
• 3+ years’ experience in Java Development.
• Experience in developing Real time processing applications
• Multithreading.
• Security and encryption standards.
• Communication protocols and techniques (Sockets, HTTP, SSL, …).
• UML design and description methodology.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization is a plus.
• Experience with cashless payment technology (credit card, PCI, EMV, test cases) and industry is a plus.
• Analytical and pro-active skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks maintaining overview and focus.
• Well organized and structured attitude.
• Strong communication skills and team player.
• Excellent knowledge in reading/writing English.
