We’re looking for a talented Staff iOS Engineer to lead our Performance Formats team and rapidly iterate on our lower funnel formats and solutions with a strong focus on cross-team and cross-functional partnership.
What you’ll do
- Own the technical direction and roadmap for a major area in the Ad Formats team.
- Exemplar for technical quality - design, implementation, documentation, code reviews.
- Develop experiences that lead to improvements to the retrieval systems.
- Collaborate with product partners in defining the outcomes and direction of the product.
- Collaborate and be a thought partner to cross-functional teams to build scalable and resilient technical solutions.
- Be a multiplier on the team, mentor and uplevel team members
What we’re looking for:

- BS degree in Computer Science
- 8+ years working experience
- 2+ years experience leading cross-team engineering efforts.
- Strong coding experience in objective-c /Swift
- Deep practical knowledge of iOS architecture and UIKit. Familiarity with Texture is a plus.
- Solid knowledge/experience in multithreading and networking in iOS
- Extensive experience in defining and leading iOS architecture design for complex features
- Experience in driving collaborations across teams and XFNs during the project management process
- Experience in mentoring junior iOS engineers
- Experience in driving efforts on exploring new product and technical opportunities
