Sr. Software Engineer, Web

We are looking for a Web Engineer to join the Identity and Privacy team.

You will work on identity solutions that empower over 500 million users a month to access Pinterest easily and securely. You will specialize in building elegant product features with cutting-edge technologies.

What you’ll do:

• Build out Pinner-facing Web features for Identity and Privacy products including robust, secure, user-centric identity solutions and privacy features that empower Pinterest users to make informed decisions about their privacy and online safety. 
• Collaborate with teams across engineering, product, design and other functions to build holistic solutions that are right for all pinners, creators, merchants and advertisers.
• Contribute to each step of the product development process, from ideation to implementation to release; from rapidly prototyping, running A/B tests, to architecting and building solutions that can scale to support millions of users.
• Employ automated testing to build features with a high degree of technical quality, taking responsibility for the components and features you develop.

What we’re looking for:

• Deep knowledge of Web development (React, Node, HTML/CSS and Javascript).
• Experience building end-user facing features.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience in following best practices in writing reliable and maintainable code that may be used by many other engineers.
• Experience with A/B experiments and data analysis is a plus.
• Experience in Identity domain (authentication and authorization solutions) is a plus.
