As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will contribute to building and scaling our cutting-edge AI Infrastructure, by being at the forefront of developing services that cater to our massive user base, which currently exceeds 150 million Monthly Active Users (MAUs). Your expertise in software engineering will play a key role in shaping the future of AI-generated digital creativity for millions of users worldwide.

You will closely work with technologies like Python, FastAPI/Flask, MongoDB/Redis, RabbitMQ, Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Gitlab.

You will

• Develop scalable microservices that serve our AI tools to more than 150 million MAUs, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
• Collaborate closely with the Infrastructure team to build robust CI/CD pipelines that facilitate efficient and seamless software delivery.
• Work in tandem with product managers and researchers to translate their requirements into new features and enhancements, delivering exceptional user experiences.
• Take an active role in mentoring and reviewing the work of other engineers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

About you

• A BS/MA degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong preference for expertise in Python.
• Demonstrable experience in building scalable microservices, ensuring performance and reliability in high-traffic environments.
• Proficiency in computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, OOP, and OOD.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery tools, enabling efficient and automated software deployment.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, coupled with experience in logging and monitoring solutions.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English, enabling effective collaboration with global teams.
• The ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner, simplifying concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
