Picsart is hiring a Senior Android Developer to join the best Mobile Photo Editor in the market and this is your chance to join our constantly growing team of professionals. 

One of the things that makes us different from the other photo editors is our advanced editing tools, and Add Objects Text team is one of the teams that brings the text editing to new heights. 

As a Senior Android developer you will utilize and advance your Math and rendering knowledge, and together we can enrich our Editor, continuously raising the bar in editing technologies.

Responsibilities: 

• Work on product features and translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code;
• Write clean, concise code that is stable and extensible;
• Write documentation including design system specs.
• Work on unit test implementation
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application, debug and resolve production issues as needed;
• Communicate frequently and effectively with other engineers in addition to our product managers and creative team;
• Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in mobile technologies and utilize top industry technologies;
• Focus on Material Design and a substantial focus on UI;
• Train and mentor new team members;

Required Qualifications: 

• BS, MA or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or another quantitative field;
• Experience in building large-scale mobile apps;
• Experience in designing modular architecture;
• Experience with Kotlin;
• Experience with Core Java development;
• Experience in Unit Testing
• Experience in Android Graphics is a huge plus; 
• Experience with iOS is a plus;
• Experience with Image Processing is a plus;
• Knowledge of Android SDK (and NDK ) development, including best practices, APIs, libraries, including popular 3rd party APIs;
• Familiar with multithreading;
• Advanced written and verbal English communication skills.
