Software Engineer - Quality

We’re looking for a Quality Engineer to champion the quality assessment of product deliverables for the PayPal Consumer Wallet Web, iOS and Android Consumer Apps. At PayPal, we work together on small, collaborative teams. We’re passionate about code quality and we’re constantly finding new ways to perfect our processes and product. We work closely with our app engineering, design, content, and product teams to test and iterate on new solutions to customers’ problems. We also collaborate with a tools and infrastructure team who are dedicated to support our Continuous Integration, Quality and Release processes.

Required Technical Skills

• 4+ years of quality assessment and automation experience
• Extensive background writing web or mobile functional automation tests
• Excellent understanding of object-oriented programming in Java or JavaScript
• Excellent understanding of Selenium & Appium Frameworks
• Excellent understanding of version control systems such as GitHub
• Good experience with Web Automation, XCode or Android Studio IDE
• Good experience with continuous integration pipelines (Jenkins 2.0)
• Proficiency administering Unix-based platforms
• B.S. or equivalent degree in Computer Science
