Software Engineer Graduate - Backend

As our quest to democratize financial services continues at blazing speed, we are looking for a passionate Backend Developer with a DevOps mindset and a great deal of experience in Agile to join our Payments Core team. Meet our team Part of our Money Alliance, our team core mission consists of offering solutions that consolidate all payments events within the Money Alliance to present a unified way for stakeholders and third-party integrators to consume payment data. Easy, right? Start date - August 2023

In this role, you will be part of a backend-heavy team consisting of creative groundbreakers driven by the shared ambition to develop modern and scalable Microservices. In this spirit, you will have the opportunity to co-tackle a wide range of technical challenges ranging from architectural decisions to freedom of implementation.

Your day to day

Broadly speaking, at Zettle we believe in working with the best tools for the tasks. With that in mind, we think that the following skills and know-how would greatly help you to make the magic happen:  

• Programming in a JVM language such as Java or Kotlin. 
• SQL and data modelling.  
• Familiar with Microservices frameworks. 
• Building distributed secure REST APIs. 

Apart from the above, you earn extra points if you have knowledge or experience with: 

• Experience building scalable data-intensive applications. 
• Amazon Web Services (SNS, SQS, API Gateway, ECS). 
• Managing AWS Infra/DevOps at scale using Terraform.
