Senior Network Engineer

What you need to know about the role: The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the critical network and security infrastructure within the PayPal business across a number of integrations. Meet our team: This role will be sitting within the Site Reliability Cloud Engineering team, which is a function under the CIO. This role and team interacts with the TechOps, PayOuts, and Cloud Ops teams to help drive workloads and support scalability.

Your way to impact:

In this role, you will be responsible for configuring and maintaining the Network and Security Infrastructure, integrating networks with multiple business units and various cloud environments. You will be following an Instrastructure as code (IAC) process to keep the infrastructure up to date. 

• 6+ years of relevant work experience required 
• Demonstrated experience in PaloAlto firewalls, end to end configuration, design and architecture setup, Panorama firewall management required 
• Demonstrated experience managing Cisco Data Centre including managing Nexus 9k,5k, and fabric switches
• Experience in Routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF preferred 
• Experience in Cloud VPC, Interconnects, Migrations, cutover and SIEM preferred
