Senior Java Developer

P2P team is looking for an experienced engineer with solid backend development skills to design and build the right P2P products. Your primary focus will be to work on product requirements and undergo the entire SDLC process to create highly available, highly scalable and high quality products.

P2P team is looking for an experienced engineer with solid backend development skills to design and build the right P2P products. Your primary focus will be to work on product requirements and undergo the entire SDLC process to create highly available, highly scalable and high quality products.

Your Way to Impact:

Participate in the full development lifecycle, including design, coding, automated testing, maintenance and production releases of backend services. Be a problem solver and drive to get results. Able to find and fix performance, scalability and other live issues in a time critical environment during Live Support. Prototype ideas quickly using cutting edge technologies. The team works on many types of components including REST services, batch jobs, messaging daemons & subscribers, and monitoring tools.

Your Day to Day:

• Build scalable, highly reliable product features

• Apply problem solving and analytical skills to variety of issues

• Interact with cross functional teams to produce win-win solutions

• Identify and resolve complex production issues

• Document best practices and help create knowledge base

What you need to bring:

• Expert in Java language development

• Proficient in REST, JSON, SQL, Junit

• 6-8 years of professional related experience

• Excellent communication and relationship skills. Ability to understand and articulate both technical and business issues with peers, management, and external teams.

• Strong technical leadership skills with the ability to resolve ambiguity in requirements

• Estimate engineering effort and come up with realistic schedules
