Senior Developer - iOS

As a member of the Directed Payments team, you will create experiences for customers to pay and track their bills in a fast, secure, and streamlined way. Directed Payments products allow the customer to search, and pay US bills via the PayPal app, as well as view their upcoming expenses within PayPal, such as person-to-person requests, among other types of expenses. Your role will involve building out new features to improve our Subscription Hub, ensuring high-quality standards and user experience.

Your way to impact:

• Collaborate with the team to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work closely with various stakeholders like UI Designers, cross-functional teams and product management teams and strive to deliver good quality products.

Your day to day:

• Follow the UX designs and convert them as features on the PayPal iOS platform.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
• Perform detailed analysis and technical designs, create technical documents and be active in design reviews.
• Code, test, integrate, document and release software adhering to technical and quality standards.

What you need to bring:

• Proficient with Swift 5+.
• Proficient with offline RESTful APIs
• Proficient with GraphQL services
• Familiarity with the iOS tool ecosystem for development, testing, debugging, and benchmarking
• Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
• Knowledge of architectural Patterns
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
• Experience with performance and memory tuning.
