Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

• Keep up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to enhance the security posture of PayPal.
• Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and processes related to security operations, incident handling, and cybersecurity policies.
• Serve as the single point of contact and the focal point for accepting, collecting, sorting, ordering, and passing on incoming information for the reported security incidents.
• Communicate with all levels of technology and operational staff and create clear, simple, and concise deliverables.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security operations and incident response.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP networking, web infrastructure applications, tools and processes used in security incident detection and response.
• Experience with network protocols, network architecture, and application, network security concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
