Lead Software Engineer - iOS

What you need to know about the role- A customer focused, hands-on iOS engineer, responsible for designing, implementing and delivering state of the art payments solutions and consumer experiences. The ideal candidate is an individual with experience building software systems by engaging across the full software lifecycle, from system design and development of system backend components. As an Identity Engineer in our development team, you will be responsible for the design, development and quality delivery of the platform web services and infrastructure.

Your day to day  

• Convert ideas, designs and requirements into concrete, stable production builds
• Works with product, project, and engineering teams to deliver products on schedule that solve our customers’ problems
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of application.
• Perform detailed analysis and technical designs, create technical documents and be active participate in design reviews.
• Code, test, integrate, document and release software adhering to technical and quality standards
• Develops and communicates technical processes, standards, and best practices to the team 

What do you need to bring-

• At least 4+ years of native iOS development experience. 7+ years’ total experience.
• Extremely comfortable with understanding and implementing internet application with REST services at the backend
• Thorough understanding of XCode
• Expert understanding of Swift and Objective-C
• Experience to develop applications using Swift UI
• Solid understanding of Cocoa Frameworks
• Knowledge of multi-threaded, asynchronous code
• Experience with animation, and implementing user interface designs
• Knowledge of design patterns such as MVC and MVVM
• Familiarity with continuous integration (Jenkins), application monitoring (Crashlytics and fabric.io), mocking tools (Appium and Apiary), build tool development and enhancements, using unit testing and cucumber tests for functional tests.
• B.E. or equivalent degree in Computer Science is desired
