As we continue our quest to democratise financial services, we are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data Platform Team in Stockholm. This role is a unique opportunity for you to join a great team powered by amazing people from different regions of the world and working together on providing the best platform to collect, enrich and expose data for Zettle teams to make smarter and faster data-driven decisions.

The Skills You Need To Succeed

In the Data Platform Team, we are mainly programming in Java and Python while our stack also includes Kotlin, Airflow, Spark, Beam, BigQuery that is hosted on Google Cloud Platform. The infrastructure is defined in Terraform and we are using both continuous integration and deployment.

What we are looking for is someone with experience in:

• Solid software engineering fundamentals and backend development experience.
• Good knowledge in an OOP language, preferably Java, Kotlin or Python.
• SQL and analytical databases such as BigQuery.
• Data processing frameworks such as Apache Beam.
• Airflow or other workflow management platforms.
• Working in cloud environments (GCP or AWS).
