This opportunity is for an ETL/IDQ Developer & Administrator to support the MDM related integrations, administration, and maintenance of the platform, developing and managing Data Quality solutions and onboarding of domains to MDM. Meet our team We are the Master Data Management (MDM) team rolling up under the Finance Organization, responsible for providing a platform for mastering Data Assets like Cost Center, General Ledger, Profit Center, Subledger related rules while enabling governance through approval process and controls. The certified data assets are distributed across Business Units and leveraged for critical finance activities like month/quarter end closure, subledger process, reconciliation, and reporting.

Your way to impact

As a ETL developer, you will be directly responsible for building real-time, near real-time, batch integrations to different upstream and downstream Finance Operational and Analytical systems that need the time critical master data for back-office transaction processing and reporting. This role also will be responsible for creating Data Hubs using variety of technologies to serve the master data for applications is different security zones. 

Your day to day

In your day-to-day role you will be responsible for

  • Requirement analysis, design, development, testing and documentation.

  • Design, develop and unit test Informatica ETL processes, IDQ Mappings

  • Install PowerCenter, IDQ on Unix server, administer the platform by upgrades and patch installation.

  • Interact with the Business Users on requirement gathering and communication to stakeholders on development activities.

  • Architect innovative, framework based, high-performance and quality solutions to cater to the Business needs.

  • Identify and Implement process improvements and leverage out of box features to optimize performance.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members.

  • Support the solutions and work with the distributed team across geographical locations.

  • Be a self-driven individual contributor and strive to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What do you need to bring-

Below are the requirements for the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

  • 5+ years of experience in developing high quality, scalable and high throughput ETL integrations.

  • 3+ years of experience in developing Informatica PowerCenter ETL mappings using Designer, Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor, and Repository Manager

  • 2+ years of experience in Administration of the PowerCenter/IDQ platform including upgrades, patch/fresh installation.

  • 3+ years of experience in using various adapter like Oracle, PWX for SAP ECC, PWX for SAP HANA, PWX for SAP BW, PWX for Hadoop/Hive

  • Experience using Unix scripts, parameter files, parameters/variables, and troubleshooting using advanced Informatica techniques like session partitioning, push down optimization, etc.

  • 2+ years of experience in DBMS including advanced SQL queries, Packages, Functions, Procedures as well as using database concepts like indexing, partitioning, performance tuning, explain plans, materialized views.

  • Experience in Java Development, SOAP/REST based Webservices.

Preferred Technical Capabilities:

  • Experience in MDM and Data Governance is a plus.

  • Experience in Visual Basic coding for writing Excel Macros is a plus.

  • Adapt learning new technologies and an end user perspective.

  • Project management experience organizing tasks and tracking deliverables.

  • Experience in java-based web applications.

  • Experience in writing IDQ profiles and Data Quality mappings using Developer and Informatica Analyst.
