Backend Developer

As a Backend Developer in our team, you will contribute not only to all aspects of backend, but also get involved in all aspects of software engineering: infra, data, application, deployment, monitoring, architecture, code reviews, pair and mob programming, etc.

Your day-to-day 

In your day-to-day role, you will lead highly skilled and motivated engineers. 

In your day-to-day role  

• You will focus on delivering high quality solutions using your Java and Kotlin skills  

• You will work as part of an agile team, planning, refining, delivering and inspecting sprint deliveries  

• You work closely with product and design to understand context and vision  

• You will work with your peers across teams to make platform improvements and increase learning opportunities for all in a supportive environment  

What do you need to bring 

Today we work with technologies like:  

• Java 

• Dropwizard 

• Docker, Terraform  

• PostgreSQL  

• AWS  

Everything is hosted on Amazon Web Services – we use managed cloud services as much as we can.  

We believe that you have:  

• A few years of experience building distributed systems 

• Experience working with continuously delivered systems 

• Experience with SQL and data modelling 

• A result and delivery-oriented mindset 

• A genuine learning and knowledge sharing spirit 

• Unix/Linux/Docker experience  

• Interest in or experience of FinTech industry
