As a Sr. IT Engineer, you’ll get to: 

  • Join an IT team passionate about automation, security, proactive problem solving and process documentation.
  • Analyze, suggest, and make improvements to existing processes, as well as implement business processes where none exist.
  • Administer, keep up to date on new features and releases, and identify opportunities for better automation or features on a wide variety of SaaS applications (OKTA, Google Workspace, Slack, JIRA, etc.)
  • Bring your experience managing macOS and iOS devices at scale using JAMF to increase endpoint security, improve end user experience and maintain data to reflect the overall inventory, health, and compliance state of all devices.
  • Document, teach, communicate and reinforce procedures and standard methodologies for the IT team and offer technical mentorship and troubleshooting assistance as needed.

Your experience should include:

  • Join an IT team passionate about automation, security, proactive problem solving and process documentation.
  • Help define and configure user lifecycle management at Paxos using industry standard IAM methodologies leveraging Workday and Okta.
  • Help define and configure a Zero-Trust device authentication solution.
  • Apply industry best practices to harden our SaaS app security posture. 
  • Administer, keep up to date on new features and releases, and identify opportunities for better automation or features on a wide variety of SaaS applications (OKTA, Google Workspace, Slack, JIRA, etc.)
  • Analyze, suggest, and make improvements to existing IT processes, as well as implement processes where none exist.
  • Document, teach, communicate and reinforce procedures and standard methodologies for the IT team and offer technical mentorship and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
  • Provide technical expertise, mentorship and assistance with ticket escalations as needed.

Your experience should include:

  • 5+ years administering Okta as the organization’s SME including an expert knowledge of security policies, app configurations, IAM methodologies, user-provisioning best practices and Okta Workflows.
  • 5+ years administering various SaaS applications as the SME or technical lead (Google Workspace, Jira, Slack, etc)
  • A history of implementing device-trust/zero-trust solutions in a cloud first environment.
  • A history of architecting and/or enhancing zero-touch solutions for macOS/iOS.
  • A future focused approach to process automation and integrations that drive scalability, security and efficiency gains.
  • A history of leading highly impactful projects from start to finish.
  • Working with infosec, HR, Compliance, Legal and other cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and collaborative skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences at various hierarchical levels.
  • Ability to efficiently handle ambiguity and solve complex problems independently.
  • A history of proactive problem solving, strategic thinking, and team oriented collaboration.

You might also have: 

  • Experience managing Windows devices at scale.
  • Experience configuring and administering Jira.
  • Experience deploying and administering EDR tools such as Sentinel 1, Carbon Black, Crowdstrike, etc.

Paxos offers a competitive total compensation and benefits package, including equity. Actual salary within that range is dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience and qualifications.

Expected range for the salary component for candidates located within the United States is:
$138,125$162,500 USD
