Cloud Security Engineer

We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to join our Product Security team in our NJ office. This role requires technical hands-on skills, knowledge and experience in information security, network management and familiarity with cloud environments.

Your Day-to-Day Role

• Information Security Continuous Monitoring using state-of-the-art tools
• Implementing, configuring and tuning various information security systems and controls
• Hardening and remediation of info-sec systems and controls across Cloud, Network, OS, and application tiers
• Participate in information-security incident response
• Participate in on-going security activities like vulnerability management and SIEM improvements
• Participate in compliance audits

Your Work Experience

• Has relevant experience of at least four years as an information security engineer
• At least 2 years of experience building and managing security controls on cloud-based platforms (ideally both AWS and Azure)
• Proficient in identity and access management (IAM)
• Detailed understanding of Cloud Security fundamentals, including cryptography, segmentation & segregation and the shared responsibility model
• Understanding of info-sec principles - e.g, CIA Triad, Principle of least privilege etc
• Solid working knowledge of network, firewall, access management and various mitigation methods
• Have hands-on experience working with vulnerability management and posture management solutions, penetration testing tools and SIEM platforms
• Comfortable conducting research on vulnerability impact, risk analysis and remediation recommendation
• Experience and knowledge of Linux and OSX, TCP/IP networks, and everything related to the command line is an advantage 
• Experience with Cybersecurity Frameworks such as NIST 800-53, SOC2 or ISO are helpful

Important Details   

This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will work out of our Englewood Cliffs, NJ office to maximize collaboration and interaction with the business. Travel may be required.

The base salary hiring range for this position is $89,760 to $134,640. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be dependent upon various factors such as education, training, skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, scope of the role, and location.
