Brief summary of role:
We are looking for a solid frontend developer with experience in React and various web technologies.
You will be working on user interfaces for our suite of construction visualization products. Most of our UI is a 2-dimensional layer of React that sits on top of some very cool 3D webGL views that render interactive results of our state-of-the-art machine vision and machine learning algorithms.
Our company is headquartered in San Francisco, but we are accepting remote work from home applicants.
What you will be doing:
- Collaborate with our product, design and QA teams to produce new features and functionality
- Drive advancements in architecture, best practices and processes for the frontend team
- Deliver high quality code, including automated tests
- Perform code reviews, ensuring code re-use and standardization
- Identify and propose solutions for technical debt and engineering investments
What we are looking for:
- At least 5 years of experience with JavaScript
- At least 2 years of experience with React
- Experience with Typescript is a bonus
- Experience with three.js and webGL is a bonus
- Full stack experience with Postgres, Java, and Kotlin is a bonus
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, education, demonstrated capabilities, and geographic location within the state. The following salary range applies to this role.
If you are a Colorado applicant:
- The estimated pay range for this role, based in Colorado, is $165,000-$181,000
- Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in OpenSpace’s equity plan.
