Senior Principal Salesforce Developer

The Challenge

We are seeking a Senior Principal Salesforce Developer who will play a vital role in the design and implementation of OneTrust’s Salesforce platform. The position will provide innovative solutions to address complex business objectives and system integrations using existing and emerging technology platforms. Also, this individual will execute true end-to-end development and testing of software products in an agile lifecycle.  

Your Mission

• Develop, test, and document solutions within Salesforce using both declarative and coded functionality 
• Maintain existing Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Web Components (LWCs) across the Salesforce platform 
• Create new Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and LWCs across the Salesforce platform 
• Overseeing the end-to-end architecture of the Salesforce Platform {Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud (Portals), Sales Cloud, CPQ, FinancialForce} and other integrations. 
• Evaluate synchronous and asynchronous development techniques and choose the correct technology based on business requirements and system constraints
• Participate in the planning and analysis of requirements for system enhancements, translating requirements into well-architected solutions that best use the Salesforce platform and products, testing, and deployment 
• Provide level of effort estimates for proposed solutions along with the benefits and risks to a solution's feasibility and functionality 
• Participate in training team members in technical best practices 
• Research and gather performance data from monitoring solutions and recommend system improvements to increase efficiency and success for users and systems 
• Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects encountered during various stages of project delivery, including during the deployment and implementation of the solution in production environments
• Success will be measured by the amount of tech debt that was reduced, quality of code that is delivered and impact to the business via the automation built. 

You Are

Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by various things to solve via automation. Passionate about your Salesforce instance and looks to find the right balance between custom code and configuration. 

Your Experience Includes

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent and applicable work experience 
• 10+ years of experience in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning development, configuration, testing, and deployment 
• 7+ years of experience performing Salesforce system administrator tasks in addition to development 
• Experience with Salesforce Configure Price Quote (CPQ) and Professional Services Automation (FinancialForce) 
• Experience working with source control and continuous integration 
• In-depth knowledge of REST APIs and experience building integrations with Salesforce
