Principal Identity Management Engineer

The Challenge

The Principal Identity and Access Management  Engineer works within IT and Information Security teams to support the Director of IAM with development and management of the IAM program. This position is responsible for supporting the IAM program via managing the digital identity and infosec controls framework, policies and procedures, and alignment of digital identity program to support and protect OneTrust employees and customers.  

Your Mission

• Define or augment access control protocols and establish role-based access control mechanisms to maintain a strategy of least privilege  
• Support security audits and customer assessments as needed  
• Manage and mature processes for recertification of user access  
• Develop and maintain key vendor and other partner relationships to support the identity program   
• Define metrics and develop reporting on the efficacy of access controls  
• Partner with other HR, IT, Security, and Privacy leaders to:  
• Adhere activities to controls necessary for security, privacy, and internal policies  
• Create, maintain, and enforce well documented standards and procedures for the implementation of technical identity and access solutions.  

You Are

An experienced IAM engineer who can strategize and support with business partners in a global fast growing organization. You are able to directly support various IAM responsibilities and liaise with the internal/external teams to integrate security requirements into core practices. In this role, you will own the overall IAM technology stack, processes and documentation 

• Technology oriented: You may not be the only hands involved in a project, but you don’t mind getting involved and have deep understanding of current trends and technologies  
• A Relationship builder: Ability to listen, build rapport, and credibility as a strategic partner vertically within the business unit, as well as with leadership and functional teams 
• A Strategic thinker: Ability to map joint organizational vision and long-term thinking, imagination, and idea generation  
  

Your Experience Includes    

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field  
• 5+ years of experience in IT or Information Security  
• 3+ years of experience in identity and access management disciplines  

Extra Awesome

• Experience with Azure AD 
• Experience with SailPoint 
• Experience with PIM/PAM solutions 
• Appropriate security certifications (CISSP, CISM, IAM-specific)
