Senior iOS/Android Engineer (Remote Available)

These roles will join our Technical Operations Team in our Orlando, Florida headquarters and report to the Senior Director of Product. The Positions are eligible to telecommute from a remote workspace. However, preference/priority will always be given to candidates who express the ability to work on site at OneRail HQ in Orlando, FL (ZIP code 32819).

The role of Senior Software Engineer requires extensive experience in iOS and Android app engineering, as well-honed problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate has a broad understanding of React Native, Swift, Java/Angular, and significant experience working with development teams to develop and support mobile applications. To succeed in this role, the incumbent must be comfortable working on an Agile team, as well as be a collaborative, great communicator who thinks performance, scalability, and standards first to mindfully assist the engineering team members within an Agile team environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Collaborate with Product Owners to develop the front end of iOS and Android mobile applications
• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform 
• Native development with swift, react native, Angular
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM

• 5 years of position related experience
• Demonstrated experience with Swift, Java, React Native, Angular
• Demonstrated experience developing CI for mobile applications for App Stores
