Your role

Reporting to the Director of Engineering you will be responsible for

  • Monitoring, managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure to ensure continued service delivery
  • Engineer solutions to IT infrastructure and application problems engaging with 3rd-party support where required
  • Assist with the design and testing of disaster recovery procedures for IT infrastructure services
  • Understand the requirements of the business and develop options to provide optimum solutions and technology enhancements
  • Plan and manage approved projects to deliver appropriate solutions to the business
  • Provide 1st-line support to the IT Service Desk
  • Create and maintain up-to-date documentation and controls in relation to infrastructure systems

 

Working within the IT Operations team, you will apply your expertise to provide senior-level support of our technical architecture in a cloud environment. You will be expected to propose and evaluate new solutions.

 

Requirements:

You have done some of these things:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in managing SaaS-based internally-facing applications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working as an application support or delivery engineer
  • Experience leading 3rd party tool implementations (CRMs, ERPs, HCMs etc.)
  • Experience working with online collaboration platforms (Google Workspace, Slack)
  • Experience working with MDM’s like Jamf, Jumpcloud managing macOS and Windows based laptops
  • Strong knowledge of Jira Cloud
  • Strong knowledge of security best practices within the area of SaaS management.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve complex infrastructure related problems and working with limited supervision
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of the team; flexibility in dealing with assignments and in working on several projects simultaneously; ability to communicate well with people of diverse backgrounds.

 

We would consider it a bonus if:

  • You have experience with setting up internal work management systems (Planhat, ServiceNow etc.)
  • You can write scripts/code
  • You have previous experience working with AWS-based infrastructure 
  • You have experience writing API-based integrations between SaaS applications (preferably using low-code tools like Zapier, Tray.io, Bettercloud, Workato etc.)
