Senior AEM Sites Developer

We are looking for a proficient and experienced AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) Sites Developer to join our team. As an AEM Sites Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality solutions within the Adobe Experience Manager platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional digital experiences and ensure optimal performance, scalability, and usability that support our business objectives.

What you’ll be doing 

  • Develop, implement, and maintain custom AEM components, applications, and workflows for content management solutions.
  • Integrate AEM with other systems and third-party services using RESTful and SOAP-based web services.
  • Manage AEM deployments, including configuration, testing, and production rollout.
  • Ensure optimal performance and scalability of AEM systems by conducting regular code reviews, performance tests, and optimisations.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to ensure components and APIs are integrated smoothly and efficiently.
  • Keep abreast of the latest AEM updates and technologies, applying best practices to all development activities

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 3+ years of proven experience as an AEM Developer (AEM 6.x and above), including custom and AEM core component development, AEM Touch UI development, and integration with the AEM platform
  • Strong expertise in Java and OSGI frameworks.
  • Proficient with AEM APIs, CRX repository, Apache Sling, and JCR
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) and their integration with AEM
  • Knowledge of AEM administration, including user permissions, configurations, and system maintenance
  • Understanding of software development methodologies, version control systems like Git, and CI/CD processes in using Maven and Jenkins
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
