The Opportunity:

Nutanix is disrupting the industry by converging several layers of computing (compute, storage, virtualization, backup etc..) into one, and delivering it through a single User Interface as a frictionless and delightful consumer grade user experience. Therefore, unlike traditional companies in the computing space, a well designed User Interface is vital to Nutanix’s success.

Your Role:

• Finely tuned critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• A Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science (or equivalent)
• Experience in designing and implementing exceptional user interfaces in HTML5, Javascript and CSS
• Experience in SPA and frameworks like ReactJS/BackboneJS/AngularJS (Reactjs is a must)
• Excellent understanding and experience in integrating with rest api and json is must.

What You'll bring :

• Experience in developing enterprise web applications
• Experience with Java/Golang
• Working closely with the UX and visual design team to build a highly engaging UI that predicts and exceeds user expectations
• Working closely with the product management team to understand user needs
• Working on complex problems that cross multiple functional areas.
• Participating in process definition and technology selection to ensure appropriate testing of UIs
• Working in DevOps model where Quality is everyone’s responsibility and there is no strict line between Dev & QA. Be open to contribute to testing automation efforts in team.
