About the Role

Our software organization is growing and we are looking for talented students to join our Perception team as part of the Pathfinders Internship Program. 

As a Pathfinder, you will gain meaningful work experience while applying the knowledge and skills you have gained in the classroom. You will have the opportunity to make connections with interns and employees across the company, and to make a quantifiable impact on one of our teams. 

We hire students at the undergraduate and graduate levels for roles lasting 12, 14 or 16 weeks. Longer term internships are available for research positions. 

About the Work

• Solve real world robotics problems in one or more of the following areas: perception, computer vision, machine learning, sensor fusion, state estimation, object detection, classification, and tracking
• Design novel algorithms and produce robust, well-tested C++ software
• Work fast and smart, and collaborate well with other awesome team members

About You

• You are pursuing a PhD or MS in Computer Science or related field graduating in December 2023 or later
• You have deep expertise in one or more of the following areas: perception; 3D computer vision; machine learning; sensor fusion; state estimation; and object detection, classification, and tracking
• You are a skilled algorithm designer with strong problem solving skills
• You are a talented software developer ideally with experience in C++
• You have a knack and real passion for searching and solving hard problems
• If you have experience working on autonomous robot systems that would be a huge plus
• You are passionate about accelerating the benefits of robotics for everyday life
