Our NielsenIQ Technology teams are working on revamping multiple platform, a unified, global, open data ecosystem powered by Microsoft Azure. Our clients around the world rely on NielsenIQ’s data and insights to innovate and grow.  As a Mobile Engineer, you’ll be part of a team of smart, highly skilled technologists who are passionate about learning and prototyping cutting-edge technologies. Right now our CDAR platform is concentrating on application convergence with latest cross platform mobile technologies with Xamarin and leverage Azure DevOps to support things like CI/CD and integrations. Our team is co-located and agile, with central technology hubs in Chennai and Pune.

What you’ll do  

· Lead the design, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge iOS & Android mobile applications using the MAUI framework (Microsoft)

· Drive innovation in cross-platform development using Xamarin, MAUI, and C#.

· Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.

· Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the mobile development team.

· Stay abreast of industry trends, evaluate emerging technologies, and recommend solutions that enhance our mobile capabilities.

· Ensure code quality, security, scalability, and performance by implementing best practices and code reviews.

Qualifications

We’re looking for people who have  

· Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

· 10+years of experience - Hands-on developing mobile Xamarin/MAUI, Native Android, Native iOS applications.

· Experience in any other cross platform frameworks – React Native, Flutter is an added advantage.

· In-depth knowledge of cross-platform development and architecture.

· Strong expertise in mobile application design patterns, best practices, and optimization techniques.

· Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members.

· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

· Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, BitbucketAzure DevOps & Code quality analysis tools like Sonarqube & unit testing tools like NUnit, XUnit

· Demonstrated ability to thrive in an enterprise Agile/SCRUM environment. SAFe Agile experience is preferred.

· Experience in creating own custom native SDK, integrating with mobile application.

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
