AI Research Intern, Summer 2024

About the internship

Are you a machine learning engineer inspired to innovate with NLP and multimodal technologies, aiming to impact tens of millions of users? We're actively seeking a researcher specializing in the NLP and Multimodal field, who is eager to make a significant impact with state-of-the-art technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop multimodal content understanding and user understanding technologies based on LLMs.
• Drive innovation in automated content generation across various modalities including  text, image, and video.
• Conceptualize and devise novel solutions aimed at enhancing search and chat experiences, and pioneer emerging products and features centered around generative AI.
• Write and contribute to research papers for publication.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science with a focus on machine learning technologies such as LLMs, recommendation systems, advertising algorithms, NLP, or computer vision. Must be in the last year of your program.
• Proficient in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, and programming languages such as Python.
• Candidates with top-tier conference papers in Machine Learning and LLM are preferred.
• This is a 12 week paid internship beginning in May/June. The internship requires working on-site in our Mountain View, CA office. Hourly pay range for this role is $40-$55.
