The Risk Insights develops complex, distributed, hybrid cloud systems that power our risk insight services. These services provide customers with a multidimensional view of the applications, devices and users on their network. We illuminate unsanctioned and unsupported apps and devices (Shadow IT), and we track user behaviors so customers can visualize and create policies to minimize risk.

Our SDETs have built Python scripted automation tools to do functional, regression, security, performance and load/scale testing of our services and clients. What you will be doing

• Developing expertise in our cloud security solutions, and using that expertise and your experience to help design and qualify the solution as a whole
• Contributing to building a flexible and scalable automation solution
• Working closely with the development and design team to help create an amazing user experience
• Helping to create and implement quality processes and requirements
• Working closely with the team to replicate customer environments
• Automating complex test suites
• Developing test libraries and coordinating their adoption.
• Identifying and communicating risks about our releases. 
• Looking beyond your specific area of responsibility and ensuring our solutions deliver value to our customers.
• Owning and making quality decisions for the solution.
• Owning the release process

Required skills and experience

• 8+ years of experience as an SDET and a track record showing you are highly motivated and capable of coming up with creative, innovative and working solutions in a collaborative environment.
• Strong Python, Go or equivalent programming skills.
• Knowledge of Jenkins, Hudson, or any other CI systems.
• Experience testing distributed systems
• A proponent of Strong Quality Engineering methodology.
• Strong knowledge of linux systems.
• Experience with and knowledge of HTTP and related protocols.
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch
• Passion for API testing and an understand of how cloud technologies and cloud applications work
• Experience with Databases, SQL and NoSQL (Mongodb or Cassandra)
• Knowledge of network security, authentication and authorization.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and taking the initiative regarding issues and decisions
• Proven ability to apply data structures and algorithms to practical problems.
• Bonus points for any of the following
• Understanding of database internals and query processing
• Experience with SaaS security infrastructure
• Familiarity with standard development tools and processes source control, IDE, debugging, profiling, JIRA etc

Education

• BSCS or equivalent required, MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred
