Neogen is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of new commercial laboratory equipment in the Food Safety Testing Market. This role includes development of new customer solutions while working with product managers, application specialists, and customers to bring innovative solutions to market.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of state-of-the-art hardware products for use in the Food Safety market globally
- Contribute to the technology roadmap and strategic plan for digital systems technologies and hardware/software platforms
- Lead development projects with a combination of internal, third-party, and offshore development teams
- Resolve design issues associated with continuing engineering support and manufacturing
Required Qualifications:
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Neogen is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering and minimum three (3) years of hardware electrical engineering development experience
- Experience developing commercial laboratory equipment
- Ability to design and optimize system level and circuit board hardware design with digital, analog, and mixed signals
- Established track record of working in all stages of global product development from prototype to successful commercial product launch
