As an Associate Developer Support Engineer, you will be part of the high-performing development team that is passionate about problem solving, technology, and innovative product development for the Customer Success organization. You will work with and support other Support Engineers, applying training in information technology and computer programming to the design, creation, and maintenance of cloud-based, generative-AI solutions for nCino Customer Success use cases.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Aid in the design, development, and maintenance of cloud-based generative AI solutions for various Customer Success scenarios. Tasks may include coding, participating in architecture discussions, and managing infrastructure guided by a senior team member. Utilize problem-solving skills to assist in research and support cutting-edge solutions that drive innovation and efficiency that align under the development team’s defined processes.
Adhere to coding standards and established development practices to ensure clarity and consistency in code that is reviewed by a senior team member
Foster innovation through active participation in brainstorming sessions and proof of concept development in team-oriented projects
Stay informed about generative AI and industry trends to effectively address business needs that aid in the development team’s tactical goals.
Ensure data security by aligning development practices with internal processes set forth by the development team and global standards.
Assist in testing, debugging, and deploying code changes in collaboration with team leaders and other internal departments.
Gather feedback from multiple stakeholders to ensure solutions meet user requirements.
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to clarify expectations and establish deliverables under the supervision of a senior team member and/or team leader.
Collaborate with peers across teams within the Support and Customer Success departments.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment by demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
Continuously expand your knowledge of company technologies, including programming languages and frameworks.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
0+ years functional experience and bachelor’s degree, or combination of related experience and education
Working understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts and proficiency in at least two of the following languages: Apex, JavaScript, Python, HTML, CSS
General knowledge of software design principles, development tools, and generative AI.
Demonstrated ability to overcome challenges and solve problems while driving projects to completion in a team and independent environment.
Demonstrated ability to rapidly digest emerging, highly-technical concepts for sound decision-making.
Demonstrated ability to motivate yourself and others to produce best-in-class AI solutions for internal use cases.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Time management and organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities concurrently
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
4 nCino certifications.
4 Salesforce or AWS certifications.
Formal computer science or data science training.
Practical knowledge of nCino Customer Success processes.
Experience developing on Salesforce and/or AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, APpFlow).
Experience with APIs and back-end development.
