Product Design Intern

As a Product and Design Intern at Nauto you will…

• Work closely in cross-functional teams to create a unified, end-to-end experience across edge devices and platform features
• Support Product and Design with documentation of requirements and feedback from users and customers
• Collaborate with Product and Design to devise solutions to customer problems
• Assist with the delivery of solution designs, breaking down projects into clear tasks
• Produce key Product and Design artifacts on both the research side (personas, interviews, user-testing) and interaction side (flows, mocks, design system components)

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or in final year of Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Economics, Applied Math or related field
• Personal passion for product, and a deep intuitive ability to deliver people-centric solutions
• Experience with working in a Technical or business environment, specifically IoT or cloud-based products
• Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to explain complex ideas to colleagues
• Fundamental knowledge of visual design principles
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and cross-functionally

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fluency in the human-centered design process
• A portfolio that demonstrates at least two strong projects in design across both digital and physical products, services, and systems
• Familiarity with the principles of product management
• A passionate advocate for craft, detail, and function
• Ability to translate and implement design insights into requirements and usable features
• Proficient in design and product tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, XD, Confluence or others)
• Quick learner, excellent problem-solving skills, visionary
• Passionate about redefining logistics
• Passion for creating meaningful products that resonate emotionally with users
• Excellent communicator and proactive problem-solver with a sense of urgency
