The Role
We’re looking for a smart, analytical and curious Finance Lead to help us drive forward on our mission. As the founding member of the Finance team, you will be responsible for all aspects of the finance domain, ranging from building models for resource allocation, modelling pricing strategies, treasury management, optimising cashflow, tracking how we spend (in collaboration with our external bookkeepers and Ops team), and preparing for fundraises. You will also work hand in hand with the founders and leadership on other strategic areas, such as customer negotiations, legals and recruiting.
What you’ll be doing
- Working with the leadership team on pricing strategy and commercial modelling
- Building financial models to help us plan how we allocate our resources
- Track how we’re spending across the org (in collaboration with our external accountants)
- Managing our treasury
- Prepare the organisation for fundraising that can fuel our fast paced growth
- Provide lift to leadership across other areas, ranging from negotiations, to legals and recruiting
What you will need
- Strong analytical ability and capable of learning quickly
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- A desire to have a high impact, and to work in an environment where you have high autonomy and decision making agency to influence the direction
- Want to develop the skills and experience to become a VP Finance or CFO one day
Nice to have
- Come from an investment banking background, where you’re used to learning fast, working hard, and thinking analytically
