Fullstack Software Engineer

YOUR MISSION

As a Full Stack Engineer on our Content Discovery Experience team, you will help develop and enhance features that power our cutting-edge visual collaboration app. You'll join our team of dedicated engineers, designers, and product managers who work iteratively to improve our product, drive user engagement, and help our customers collaborate more effectively.

In this role you will:

• Be a part of building and improving our product, owning what you do, and seeing it evolve.
• Understand user requirements and problems to be able to help solve them.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and the data team.
• Have a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration. We encourage pair programming and code reviews.
• Be a problem solver, use your resources to work autonomously, and bring new ideas to our work by sharing your particular experience, insights, and knowledge.
• Generate experiments, test them with production users, analyze, repeat
• Be part of tech designs and talks, helping level up others around you

YOUR PROFILE

• 2+ years of software engineering experience in a similar position, working with design and product teammates
• Proficient in building UIs with JavaScript, ideally with ReactJS and TypeScript
• Some experience with the backend, ideally with Node.js
• Interested in a split of 75% Frontend/ 25% Backend. 
• Experience with source control, ideally Git
• Can collaborate with others to achieve a common goal
• Can analyze problems and recommend solutions
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
• Bias for action - be willing to take calculated risks and experiment frequently

Nice to Have:

• Experience with a JS testing library, we use both unit tests and integration tests
• Experience with databases, especially NoSQL as we use MongoDB

In the state of Colorado, the salary for this role ranges from $92,000 to $126,500 + equity + benefits, but may vary based on your qualifications and job-related experience level, that could result in a level outside of this range.

In the state of California and Washington, the salary for this role ranges from $103,500 to $142,400 + equity + benefits, but may vary based on your city of residence, qualifications and job-related experience level, that could result in a level outside of this range.

In New York City, the salary for this role ranges from $115,000 to $158,200 + equity + benefits, but may vary based on your qualifications and job-related experience level, that could result in a level outside of this range.

Job level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
