What you’ll be doing:

• Build and Lead a team of AI engineers and data scientists who are responsible for developing and deploying AI solutions for various business functions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their pain points, challenges, and goals, and identify high-value AI use cases that align with our business objectives.
• Drive the strategic integration of AI across various functions within the organization to enhance productivity and decision-making.
• Oversee the development of in-house AI solutions and the selection of out-of-the-box AI tools to meet business needs effectively.
• Liaise with external AI solution providers and vendors for the seamless integration of third-party solutions.
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of AI initiatives on business outcomes.
• Ensure the quality, reliability, scalability, and security of AI solutions, and adhere to best practices and standards for AI development and governance.
• Communicate the value proposition, benefits, and outcomes of AI solutions to internal audiences, and showcase Monotype's thought leadership and innovation in AI.
• Identify new opportunities, trends, and technologies in the AI domain, and explore how they can be leveraged to enhance Monotype's processes.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Total 8+ years of experience with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in building and implementing AI solutions using tools such as ChatGPT, AI Agents, Data Science, etc.
• Experience in collaborating with cross functional teams to optimize their workflows and outcomes using AI.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise data, data storage architecture, security, and best practices.
• Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem, especially Azure and Co-pilot studio.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage AI projects from inception to deployment, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven track record of mentoring and coaching junior AI engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Experience in conducting research and evaluation of emerging AI trends, tools, and best practices, and applying them to enhance various products and services.
