About the team

The Platform Support team is responsible for triaging, automating, and optimizing incoming requests from the product team to all functions in the platform stream (Infrastructure stream in our naming). The infrastructure stream creates a platform for our developers, and there are such functions as Cloud Engineering & Operations, Platform Engineering, Database and Storage Platform, Product Security, and QA Platform.

Each role at Miro is based at one of our physical hubs, and we look for talent that want to be part of these local, collaborative communities. Mironeers work in a hybrid model, with a 3 days a week in office culture as our baseline.

About the role

Miro is a successful and fast-growing engineering company that has created a business-critical tool for various companies across the globe. We are establishing and improving new technologies and approaches that require a lot of foundations for our developers, like microservices platform from infra and app sides, observability, security, and quality tools, infrastructure capabilities for databases, etc. The Infrastructure stream is developing all basics, and product teams have tons of requests for the stream. Taking the role, you will:

  • Work directly with developers to help them solve basic requests and redirect unregular asks to the right teams straightaway. 
  • Categorize requests, analyze their types, and optimize triage.
  • Get and automate all frequent requests, and unload teams in the infrastructure stream.
  • Keep SLA and ensure transparency of ticket handling in front of our customers.

What you’ll do

  • Establish tooling and process itself to triage tickets, constantly work on its optimization
  • Triage tickets
  • Automate regular tickets
  • Work with infra teams to get run books from them to automate requests
  • Analyze requests distribution constantly, find patterns, problems, and initiate solving them

  • 1+ years in a DevOps/SRe role working closely with developers
