Our greatest goal in the Miro Enterprise team is to empower large businesses to take control of our collaboration tools. This is vital because Miro is used by 99% of the Fortune 100. Thus our team focuses on ensuring that Enterprises are enabled to best use our product for all of their hybrid work needs.

Each role at Miro is based at one of our physical hubs, and we look for talent that want to be part of these local, collaborative communities. When we return to the office, Mironeers will work in a hybrid model, with 3 days a week in the office in the heart of Amsterdam.

About the Role

We have separate roles for Software Engineers in Frontend and Backend on the Enterprise team. As a Backend Engineer, you will be working closely with dedicated Designers, Product Managers, and Quality Engineers. Your responsibilities will include: 

• Solving technical problems of large scope and complexity
• Crafting high quality technical designs
• Taking long-term responsibility for a feature/subsystem
• Helping to define and improving internal standards and processes
• Sharing your expertise and gaining new knowledge
• Thinking about User Experience and making it better

What you'll need

• Experience building robust, highly-scalable, distributed systems for product companies preferably using an Object Oriented language
• Experience developing on a cloud platform, AWS preferred
• Experience with debugging and performance monitoring
• Expertise in decomposing product requirements and creating a technical design
• Experience with splitting up a monolith into microservices is a plus
