As a Solution Architect Program Manager, you will perform a key role in how we build, deliver, manage, and optimize, the CO+I ServiceNow platform instance supporting global data center support teams & services. The Information & Platform Optimization (IAPO) team leads, builds, and supports programs & platforms used by data center and critical environment personnel globally. To help us accelerate on the path to achieve our objectives, growth, and transformation, we are looking for a candidate who has broad expertise & implementation experience across ServiceNow ITSM modules with a focus on self-service enablement. This role will report to the Director of IAPO.

Required/Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

    o OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

  • 4+ years of development, implementation, and management on ServiceNow platform including ITSM modules and integrating (using Integration Hub) across other systems/services. 

 

Other Requirements 

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:  
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. 

 

Additional or Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python 
  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. 
  • OR equivalent experience. 
  • 7+ years of development, implementation, and management on ServiceNow platform including ITSM modules. 
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems or services using Integration Hub.  
  • Effective written, interpersonal communication and presentation topics. 
  • Good attention to detail, passion for strategic thinking and problem solving, and ability to deliver rich business insights to drive business decisions. 
  • Ability to work with a variety of people across the organization, including senior leaders, individual contributors, support staff and maintain confidentiality. 
  • Ability to maintain good judgment in dynamic environments. 
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and effectively triage several competing priorities. 
  • Work independently to balance multiple tasks and competing priorities simultaneously. 

 

 

Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.

  • Platform Architect: Responsible for contributing to platform Roadmap, including test strategy, implementation, and configuration requirements of new modules and major upgrades. Keeping business solutions up to date with the latest innovations available on the ServiceNow Platform.  
  • Cross Group Collaboration: Work with stakeholder groups as a Technical Advisor building trust and influencing how to tailor technical solutions & implementation strategies to meet desired outcomes to maximize business value.  
  • Implementation Management: Ability to distill stakeholder scenarios and challenges into clear, concise execution requirements for development & implementation. Ensure ServiceNow platform configuration and cross-platform integration solutions are based on ServiceNow best practices while maintaining out of the box (OOTB) upgradeability.  
  • Platform First Optimization: Ensure all solutions enabled on ServiceNow Platform adhere to best practices for optimal performance, enable Self-Service capabilities, and take advantage of pre-built capabilities to minimize customization. You will also identify risks and proposed data-based mitigations through coordination with ServiceNow global platform team strategy and best practices. 
  • Documentation: Strive for and adhere to process excellence for documentation, planning and grooming project priorities and collaborating with Engineering & Development teams. Creation of product/feature specifications with visual and written designs as needed.
