​​Within Azure Data, the databases team builds and maintains Microsoft's operational Database systems. We store and manage data in a structured way to enable multitude of applications across various industries. The developer’s experience team is focused on solving developer’s problems. Making sure Cosmos DB database can be made extremely easy to use, design & debug and help customers to develop complex solutions. At the core, we deal with massively scaled, latency/performance sensitive distributed system. Our team plays a vital role in enabling customers to use various features and capabilities of the Cosmos DB database to develop their applications.

Database Development Kit involves:  
Developing SDK – to enable application developers to use Cosmos DB efficiently and build intelligent applications.

Required/Minimum Qualifications 

​​Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent Engineering with 2-3+ years of software development experience.  
· Good problem-solving, scalable system design and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: 

• This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. 

Preferred/Additional Qualifications

· Familiarity on programming experience on NodeJS/Javascript/Typescript, .NET, JAVA, Scala or Python will be good, but not necessary.
