We are staffing a Senior Software Engineer to design, build and operate new managed services for developers, based on the best open-source software, in close cooperation with the 3rd party companies.

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline and 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience in building, shipping and operating reliable, distributed solutions.

Other Requirements:

 

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

 

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Linux environment.
  • Experience working with open source projects.
  • Self-driven, can work independently and is capable of dealing with ambiguities.
  • Experience with Docker and DevOps tools such as Kubernetes, DC/OS (Distributed Cloud/Operation System), Docker Swarm.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure such as Azure or AWS (Amazon Web Services).
  • Experience in site-reliability engineering practices.
  • Experience working with Resource provider, Azure portal, Azure Security and compliance of existing Azure services is a big plus.
  • Technical and problem solving skills.

 

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
