We are the Microsoft Teams Core Services team responsible for delivering mission critical services to provide client applications access to multitude of Office 365 Core Services including our Intelligent Conversations and Communications Cloud.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be building resilient, highly scalable, highly available and highly performant services that leverage state of the art technologies to deliver the next gen collaboration and teamwork experiences. Required/Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C++, C#, Java, Ruby, Python, or Go.
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working on large scale cloud applications.
  • 3+ years of experience with hands-on system design.
  • 2+ years of experience with Service Fabric, Azure Kubernetes or equivalent.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
  • Demonstrated solid working knowledge on cloud computing / Azure / AWS.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
