We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join us on the journey of delivering the building blocks for digitally transforming financial industry workloads across the world. Required Qualifications 

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python 

• OR equivalent experience. 

• 6+ years of relevant software design, development, and delivery experience in C/C++/C#, Java, Python or related languages  
• Experience building services on Azure, AWS or GCP 

Other Requirements 

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:  

• This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. 

Preferred/Additional Qualifications 

• Experience in dealing with non-functional aspects in solutions of significant scale – availability, disaster recovery, security, performance etc. 
• Experience with technical design, problem solving and debugging  
• Provisioning/automation technologies like ARM/Bicep/Terraform/Cloud Formation Templates or equivalent, DevOps 
• App development with cloud services, containers and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes  
• Experience monitoring, testing and supporting online services .  
• Running performance and quality evaluations on services.  
• Experience with building services in regulated industries such as FSI, Defense & Security or Public Sector 
• Interest in improving engineering systems & practices and creation of high quality software 
• Demonstrated ability to mentor less experienced team members and to lead small to medium-sized projects.

We are looking for passionate people with experiences working with all service aspects of high throughput and multi-tenant services, ability to design components carefully, properly handle errors, write clean and well-factored code with good tests and good maintainability.  Responsibilities include:   
 
• Create build pipelines and release orchestration  
• Design infrastructure as code deployments for production systems  
• Design and develop highly scalable, secure, reliable and composable services and components.  
• Create infrastructure to ensure high quality code and healthy production environments  
• Prototype and iterate on new components and customer-innovation focused features.  
• Contribute to continuous improvements, incl. metrics & test automation of deliverables.  
• Maintain operations of live service as issues arise on a rotational, on-call basis.  
• Verify service architecture meets security and compliance requirements and expectation
