As a Data Scientist in the Microsoft Edge team, you will play a critical role in identifying opportunities in growing user adoption and engagement. This position demands a strong technical background, a passion for product development, and a commitment to improving our product.
Ideal candidates should have a Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. They should also have strong skills in design and problem-solving, and a commitment to quality and engineering excellence at scale. They should be able to learn new techniques from textbooks or research papers and apply them to relevant business problems. Machine learning experience, especially in deep learning projects, is essential. Experience in recommendation algorithms or natural language processing is an advantage. Moreover, candidates should have strong skills in communication, collaboration, and analysis, and be able to execute effectively across team collaborations.
